Call for Speakers

Thank you for responding to the Central Wisconsin IT Conference Call for Speakers. We are seeking dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable presenters! In order to ensure a balanced conference program, all submissions are reviewed and selected by the Central Wisconsin Information Technology Alliance (CWITA) Conference Committee.

Please note that you will NOT receive a copy of your submission, so you may want to create and save your session information in another application before proceeding with the submission.

You are allowed to submit multiple submissions. Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Central Wisconsin IT Conference!

Session Guidelines:

  • Each session will last 45 minutes, including time for Q&A

  • You will conduct your talk virtually and must have access to a computer that has a webcam, microphone and a high speed internet connection.

  • We're looking for talks on topics that may be interesting to developers, programmers, designers, team leads, and others. Below is a list of potential topics:

    • Web development

    • Data Storage/Management

    • Cloud platforms

    • Network Infrastructure

    • Dev Ops

    • Mobile

    • Cyber Security

    • Soft Skills

Audience

The primary conference audience consists of multiple levels of IT professionals, from entry-level technologists to senior level managers. Entrepreneurs and educators may also be in attendance. Session content should be geared to a level that is appropriate for the target audience.

Key Dates

Deadline for Speaker Proposals: May 8th, 2021

Notification of Acceptance: Before May 31st, 2021

CWITC is Saturday, October 9th, 2021 conducted virtually via the Whova platform and Zoom. You must agree to conduct your talk virtually and have access to a computer that has a webcam, microphone and a high speed internet connection.
