Software Engineer - Intern

Apply at Skyward

Location: Corporate Office - Stevens Point, WI during the
Summer-potential remote opportunity during the school year.

Here at Skyward you're never "just a number"; each of our employees are productive,
valued members of our team!

The thing is - we all know we're part of something larger here and that means we spend a lot of time working together to ensure we maintain our commitment to service and meeting the needs of our customers. Our values are simple, and they reverberate throughout the organization; therefore, they need to be embodied by anyone looking to join our team:

  • Collaboration

  • Communication

  • Creativity

  • Reliability

  • Focus

  • Fun

Here, interns are a part of the software engineering department, so you'll be just like the rest of us - not just an intern. Internships typically span the summer months, and you'll receive real-work experience and training just like our full-time employees. This means you'll be on a real development team, building and implementing new applications that our K-12 district community will use.

What you get as an intern at Skyward:

  • Competitive hourly rate

  • Training/professional development

  • Employee outings

  • And more!

What you need:

  • To be currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year degree program

  • Transcripts (unofficial) may be required at time of interview

If you've enjoyed your experience as a summer intern, there could be an opportunity for you to work throughout the school year (remotely, if needed). Pair that with successfully graduating from a two or four-year school and you could become a full- time employee at Skyward.
